Second match of Kashmir Premier League: Kotli Lions versus Bagh Stallions

The second match of Kashmir Premier League was played between Kotli Lions and Bagh Stallions at Muzaffarabad Stadium. Bagh Stallions named the match by 5 wickets. Kotli Lions won the toss and decided to bat first. Kotli Lions gave the target of 169 runs to Bagh Stallions. The opening of Kotli Lions was made by Kamran Akmal however, he could not make an impressive performance and got knocked out at only1 run.

Ahsan Ali showed the best performance among peers by making 51 runs. Said Badar and Asif Ali, both, secured 39 runs. Khurram Shehzad, Khalid Usman and Syed Abdullah Rafay made 10, 9 and 7 runs respectively. Hasan Raza and Akif Javed could only make one run. On the other hand, Imran Khan and Irfanullah Shah returned to the pavilion without making any runs.

Shan Masood made an opening for Bagh Stallions in Kashmir Premier League and secured 18 runs. Asad Shafique made the highest score of 43 runs and remained not out. Similarly, Iftikhar Ahmed and Aamer Yamin made 29 and 27 runs respectively. Zeeshan Malik could also score 18 runs while Umaid Asif scored 15 runs. Bagh Stallions won the match by making 172 runs at the loss of 5 wickets. Ahsan Ali earned the title of ‘Player of the Match’.

Third match of Kashmir Premier League: Muzaffarabad Tigers versus Overseas Warriors

The third match of Kashmir Premier League was played between Muzaffarabad Tigers and Overseas Warriors. Overseas Warriors won the toss and decided to bat first and gave a target of 153 runs to their opponent team. Nasir Nawaz played first and made 35 runs. It was the highest score made by the players of Overseas Warriors.

On the other hand, Imad Wasim made 34 runs. Similarly, Sohail Khan and Haider Ali made 26 and 25 runs respectively. Muhammad Haris scored 8 runs, Abbas Afridi made 6 runs while Azam Khan scored 5 runs. Unfortunately, Uthman Ali Khan and Kamran Ghulam could not score a single run.

Muzaffarabad Tigers started playing to meet the target of 154 runs. Malik Nisar made the opening by making 15 runs. Sohail Akhter made the highest number of runs for team by making 58 runs. Sohaib Maqsood made second highest runs for team by making his score to be 52 and remained not out during his performance. Zeeshan Ashraf, Malik Nisar and Mohammad Hafeez made 18, 15 and10 runs respectively. The ‘Player of the Match’ title was won by Usama Mir.

Next matches of Kashmir Premier League

The fourth and fifth match of Kashmir Premier League will be played on August 8th, 2021 i.e. Sunday at Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium. The fourth match will be played between Mirpur Royals and Bagh Stallions and will begin at 2:00 pm. The fifth match of Kashmir Premier League series will be played between Rawalakot Hawks and Muzaffarabad Tigers at 7:30 pm.
