The Pakistan National Anthem will be launched on August 14 – Let’s look at its history

On the eve of 75th Anniversary of Pakistan, Pakistan National Anthem has been re-recorded. It is officially released on 14th of August at flag hoisting ceremony. Anthem is the identity of a nation. It is sing on every national and international event to represent nationhood, unity and freedom. Hence, the re-recording of Pakistan National Anthem is rising many questions in listeners’ mind. History of Pakistan National Anthem:

  1. Writer and Composer:

Hafeez Jalandhri a famous Urdu poet, singer, and editor wrote Pakistan National Anthem, and Ahmed Ali Chagla, a re-known History of Pakistan National Anthem:musician of his time composed the music of it. The music of Pakistan National Anthem pushes listeners to another realm of patriotism and increases devotion and loyalty towards Pakistan.

  1.  When did Pakistan National Anthem Written?

On 23rd February 1949, Government of Pakistan formed a committee including a lot of senior personnel’s. The committee produced 723 scripts. Out of 723 scripts, Jalandhri’s script of Pakistan National Anthem got selected.

  1. Reason Behind the Selection of Jalandhri’s Script:

It gives the goosebumps to its listeners and freshen the patriotic feelings, devotion and urge to die for a country. This unique quality stabilized the ways of selection of Jalandhri’s Pakistan National Anthem.

  1. Music Instruments:

In the creation of Pakistan National Anthem 21 music instruments have been used, and it is present in 38 tones.

  1. Officially Released:

It was officially sung by its creator Hafeez Jalandhri for the first time from the platform of Radio Pakistan on 13th August 1954.

  1. Language:

Pakistan National Anthem is completely written in Persian language. Only an Urdu “word” کا is used.

Re-recording:

Pakistan National Anthem is re-recorded while keeping the essence of original. In the re-recorded version, chorus includes people of all provinces, men and women in equal number. It reflects the overall unity of the whole nation on a single platform. 155 vocalists are synced together to form a tone of Pakistan National Anthem.

Committee:

For the re-recording of Pakistan National Anthem the committee is formed under the supervision of Senator ® Javed Jabbar. The committee is inclusive of 01 senior military official, 05 senior civil officers, and 10 volunteers.

Audio Committee:

Audio committee included Arshad Mahmud, Brig Imran Naqvi, Rohail Hayatt, Talha Ali Khushwaha, Ustad Nafees Ahmed, Layaqzada Layak and Dr. Zulfiqat Qureshi.

Pakistan National Anthem evokes the feelings of patriotism, devotion and sincerity towards the country. It breaks the pyramid of men and women, young and old, believer and non-believer and unites all people on the single platform.
