Asaan Mobile Account AMA Scheme
Pakistan State Bank has unveiled a new Asaan Mobile account AMA scheme to make it easier to make a Bank account under branchless banking. The purpose of Asaan Mobile account initiative is, the customer would be able to open their bank accounts without visiting bank branches. It would be possible to open bank account through Asan mobile account with any non-branch banking providers involved.
The Asaan mobile account AMA scheme account strategy has been developed through association with National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), all Cellular Mobile Operators (CMOs), Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), and Virtual Remittance Gateway (VRG), 13 Branchless Banking (BB) providers.

Asaan mobile account AMA scheme services include remittances (transfer money to any bank account in a safe way), Payment of the bill (pay gas, electricity and telephones bills with an ease), Balance Inquiry (Check your remaining balance immediately), Change password of your account (Change password of your account through smart phones securely), Mini Statement (check activity of your account directly through mobile phone), Close your account (close your account from your mobile whenever needed).
Usage of AMA is so easy that any Pakistani citizen having an original identity card can open a bank account easily without any hurdle in any bank participating in Asaan mobile account AMA scheme by using sim of any mobile trader. The basic code of AMA scheme is *2262#, by using this code customer can make transactions through their smart phones without internet.
Asaan mobile account AMA scheme is so easy and quick to use. The best ease is that you do not need any internet connectivity to use it .It also provides a place to connect your existing bank account with AMA. AMA will play an important role to get through low income part of the society who does not have an approach to internet.
